Aspire Foundry
About Aspire Foundry

Hi, I’m Daniel.

I’m building Aspire Foundry, an independent app company in Washington State.

I make Bible reading apps, games, and outdoor tools. I want them to be useful, enjoyable, and worth keeping on your phone. This company is starting small: I handle development and support, with testers helping me see what works and what needs fixing.

My background

Why I started

Before starting Aspire Foundry, I served in the U.S. Army and spent 24 years in federal civilian service. Much of that work involved solving practical problems and making complicated processes work better.

I’m also a musician and have owned small businesses in the U.S. and overseas. I enjoy learning how things work, and app development gives me a way to put that curiosity to use.

I started making apps because I was tired of ads taking over the screen, confusing subscriptions, and simple tasks buried in menus. I wanted apps I’d use myself, so I began building them.

That includes the things I enjoy: reading, music, games, and spending time outdoors. There’s plenty to learn as I build, and I’d rather take the time to fix a rough edge than ask people to put up with it.

What guides the work

What you can expect

These are the commitments I’m building Aspire Foundry around.

01

Respect your privacy

We will never sell your personal data. Permissions must serve a clear purpose in the app, and we won’t ask for access we don’t need. Each app’s privacy policy explains what information it uses and why.

02

Keep pricing clear

You should know what you’re paying for and what it costs before you buy. We aim for fair prices, with purchase and renewal terms stated plainly and no pressure to pay for something you don’t want.

03

Make things useful

Every app should do its job well. That means readable screens, simple navigation, and features that help you read, learn, play, or get outdoors without making basic tasks difficult.

04

Keep improving

Testing and feedback are part of the work. When something breaks or causes confusion, I want to know so I can fix it. Testers have already helped shape features, languages, and themes.

05

Respect your attention

We’re building without advertising. You should be able to read a passage or finish a game without an ad taking over the screen. Your time belongs to you.

Keeping the work going

Purchases and optional contributions help pay for maintenance, support, and future development. Our plan is a free trial and one-time unlock for games, a subscription for Trailhead Field Kit, and optional donations for Bible Trailhead. Pricing and terms will be shown before purchase as these plans are introduced.
