Bible Trailhead
Privacy Policy

Effective October 18, 2026 · Publisher: Aspire Foundry

This policy explains how Aspire Foundry handles information in Bible Trailhead for Android (package name com.aspirefoundry.bibletrailhead) and on this website. Contact us at aspirefoundry@gmail.com.

This policy covers the current testing version. It includes subscription integration and does not display advertisements. We will update this policy when our data practices change.

Information stored on your device

Bible content is included with the app. Saved verses and theme preferences are stored locally. Aspire Foundry does not upload your saved verses or reading selections to its own server. Device or operating-system backup features may separately copy app data according to your device settings.

Subscriptions and service providers

Bible Trailhead uses Google Play for purchases and RevenueCat to validate transactions, restore purchases, and determine subscription access. RevenueCat generates a random app user identifier because the app does not require an Aspire Foundry account.

Subscription processing involves that identifier, purchase tokens, product identifiers, transaction dates, renewal and expiration information, subscription status, and technical information such as device type and operating system. Network requests also expose your IP address to the receiving service. We use these records to provide and support subscriptions, handle purchase issues, and prevent misuse. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Google Play and RevenueCat process relevant records through their services. See Google’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy information. RevenueCat acts as a service provider for app subscription data.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use this to respond and resolve your request. Our email provider processes these messages. Please avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for support.

Optional voice search and Read Aloud

Voice search listens only after you tap the microphone. The app sends microphone input to your phone’s speech-recognition service to turn your spoken passage reference into text. Depending on the service and device settings, audio may be processed on the device or sent to the provider’s servers. The provider, such as Google, may process audio, recognized text, and associated service information under its own privacy policy. Aspire Foundry does not operate a speech-recognition server, receive or store voice recordings, or use speech for advertising. The recognized text is used in the search field; it is not added to an Aspire Foundry account or server. You can cancel listening or revoke microphone permission in your phone’s app settings.

Read Aloud sends the displayed Bible text to your phone’s text-to-speech engine. Depending on the installed voice and engine settings, synthesis may occur locally or use the voice provider’s online service. Read Aloud does not use the microphone. Saved verses and your last reading position remain stored on your device as described above. For Google speech services, see Google’s Privacy Policy; other speech and voice providers have their own policies.

Permissions, advertising, and sharing

Bible Trailhead does not ask for access to your camera, contacts, or precise location. Microphone access is optional and is requested only when you choose to use voice search. Typed passage search and the other reading features work without microphone permission. It does not include an advertising SDK. We do not sell your personal information or use your reading selections for advertising. Information is disclosed to the service providers described here as needed to operate the app, or where necessary to comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.

External links

The hymn listening feature opens a YouTube search. Following that link sends the hymn search terms to YouTube; YouTube may process device, network, account, and activity information under Google’s policies. Other external pages have their own privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Local preferences remain until you remove them, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Backups may remain under your operating-system or backup provider’s settings. Subscription records are retained as needed to provide and restore access, resolve payment disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle the enquiry and related follow-up.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by Aspire Foundry or its subscription service provider, email aspirefoundry@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may ask for limited information needed to locate and verify the relevant records. Records required for legal obligations or unresolved disputes may need to be retained; we will explain any applicable limitation.

Deleting app data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it through Google Play subscriptions. Google controls its own payment and account records.

Security and international processing

Subscription services use encrypted network connections. No method of storage or transmission offers absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries, with protections governed by their agreements and applicable law.

Children’s privacy

Bible Trailhead does not provide account registration or ask users to submit a name, age, or personal profile. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

This website

This site does not include an analytics tracker, advertising pixels, contact forms, or embedded social media. Its hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to deliver pages and protect the service. Email links open your email application; external links are governed by the destination’s policies.

Your rights and policy changes

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to complain to a relevant data protection authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change, and provide additional notice where required.
