This policy explains how Aspire Foundry handles information in Sudoku for Android, package com.aspirefoundry.sudoku, beginning with version 1.2.0, build 7. Contact aspirefoundry@gmail.com with questions or privacy requests.
Game information stays on your device
Puzzles, wildlife backgrounds, and interface translations are included with the app. Game progress, entered numbers, pencil notes, puzzle rotation information, elapsed time, and preferences such as language, theme, and celebration settings are stored locally in the app’s storage. They are used to run the game and restore your progress. The app does not transmit this game information to Aspire Foundry or an advertising or analytics service.
No advertising or behavioral profiling
The advertising banner and advertising SDK have been removed from this version. Sudoku does not request ads, use advertising identifiers, send gameplay analytics, or build advertising profiles. We do not sell your personal information.
Optional support
The app includes information about supporting Aspire Foundry. Support subscriptions and contribution payments are not connected in this Sudoku build, and no payment information is collected by the app. Every puzzle and feature is available without payment. Before adding a support payment service, we will update this policy to identify the service and explain the information it handles.
Permissions and external links
Sudoku does not use your precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos. Wildlife images are bundled artwork, not photos accessed from your device. The app’s website button opens AspireFoundry.com in your external browser. The browser and website hosting service may process your IP address, browser information, and request logs to load and secure that page. The app does not include an embedded browser or send your puzzle progress with that link. See the website privacy information for more details.
Retention, backups, and deletion
Local game data and settings remain until overwritten through normal play, cleared in Android’s app settings, or removed by uninstalling. To delete all local Sudoku information, open Android Settings, Apps, Sudoku, Storage, then Clear data or Clear storage. This resets your saved game and preferences.
Your operating system may back up or transfer app data according to your device and backup settings. Backup retention and deletion are controlled by the applicable provider. Aspire Foundry has no server copy of your locally saved game and cannot retrieve or remotely delete it.
Support correspondence
If you email us, Aspire Foundry and our email provider receive your email address and any information you include. We use this to respond and resolve your enquiry, and retain it while needed for support, related follow-up, and applicable obligations. Please do not send passwords or unnecessary personal information.
Platform services and security
Google Play, your device operating system, and your browser operate under their own privacy policies and settings. This policy describes what the Sudoku app itself does. No storage or transmission method is completely secure; keep your device and apps updated.
Children’s privacy and your rights
Sudoku does not ask for a name, age, email address, or personal profile. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information to Aspire Foundry so we can investigate.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, and complain to a relevant authority. For information you have sent us through support, email aspirefoundry@gmail.com with “Sudoku privacy request” in the subject. We may need limited verification and may retain records required for legal obligations or unresolved disputes. Requests about device backups or platform records should be directed to the relevant provider.
Policy changes
We will update this page and its effective date when data practices change, and provide additional notice where required. You can find this policy through the website’s privacy page.
